Dear colleagues, are you happy with your 2017 accomplishments? Creating content, optimizing ads, communicating with both clients and followers, self-education… this job is definitely not a standard one. Having too many tasks and multitasking can easily make you lose your workflow and feel the strain of time pressure. Building an App That Makes It Easy to Learn Japanese Characters - Setup Rails And Add ReactJS

A few months ago, I started learning Japanese for fun. I started with Duolingo app, but my smartphone had just died and I had to continue learning from my laptop. Unfortunately, it wasn’t possible to learn Japanese on the Duolingo web at the time when I was writing this blog post so I tried to find a better way. Google brought me to this simple page on the topic of learning Japanese and I started to read and learn. My practice is always 'learning by doing' so I figured that the best way to learn Japanese characters is to write them down.

Case Study: How Vipnet's Fired Up Pannonian Challenge on Snapchat for Generation Z

As we have already written for Netokracija, despite the skepticism of many Croatians when it comes to Snapchat, this social network still seems to be very "cool". On Snapchat, one one can collect fires (fire emojis that appear when one has a constant interaction with the other user), and simply be himself or herself, watch interesting and dynamic content in the vertical format - which makes it easier to build a digital influence and leave mark in the digital world (yes, even though the content is not publicly exposed!). This superpower of Snapchat was used for Pannonian Challenge festival, which was held in June in Osijek. What we have achieved and why we decided to do it on Snapchat and not on Instagram - find out right here.

How to Motivate the Best Team Members According to Uncle Freddie and I

Every  good team leader knows that success of the team as a whole lies in the ability of the team's execution. But what is needed for the best team execution?  Talent? But as Tim Notke said first (yep he said it before Kevin Durant) “Hard Work Beats Talent When Talent Doesn’t Work Hard”

This is How Authentic Snapchat Shook Digital Marketing in 2016

At the beginning of the 2016, nobody was taking Snapchat seriously - “another app trying to compete with Facebook”; “sexting app”, “the app for kids” - was how Snapchat was called. Snapchat’s ephemeral nature deceived many that it is, in its nature, just another ephemeral fad.
